WELCOME TO CMC JAYAMATHA PROVINCE
Sr. Siji Therese
Provincial Superior
We, the sisters of CMC Jayamatha province, Pala welcome you. Our province encompasses 36 convents situated in the territory of the diocese of Pala and the Queen of Rosary convent at Gladbeck, Germany. It came into existence on 8th April 1952, after the bifurcation of the Changancherry diocese to Chaganacherry and Pala dioceses. Its headquarters is situated at Pala. The zealous missionaries of Jayamatha province moved to the lands of Malabar in 1950s to give Christian formation to the migrated Christians in the territories which sprouted into four provinces in northern Kerala and Karnataka. Their spirit to proclaim gospel and to bear witness to Jesus Christ made them to reach at different states of India and regions of Africa, America and Europe. Through various ministries in Kerala and mission stations in India and abroad, we the CMCs aim at a life with zeal for our own holiness and the salvation of souls in the entire world.
